So, it seems like even thought I have graduated from Sac State with a degree in Art History, I can not seem to escape the fact that art is always around me and in the news on a daily basis. I decided, after years and years of failed blogging attempts (I have the best intentions, really) and the usual excuse of being lazy, to start a new blog dedicated to my love of art and the art that is being reported in the news today.
While I sit here at an office job from 8am to 5pm, I always scan through the Sacramento Bee or the Wall Street Journal simply to occupy my time in the morning. I clip out art articles (or Art.Icles as I call them) so that I may soon send them off to my Alma Mater with the hope that they can use the information to connect the stories of art from years past to the current times. Here is the collection, which I have scanned, hunted down and linked and are here for our reading enjoyment.
