Le Corbusier: An Atlas of Modern Landscapes

Le Corbusier is probably one of the most influential architects of the 20th century. He pioneered design concepts like the 'Five Points of Architecture' (which can be seen in his iconic design 'Villa Savoye' located about 17 miles North-West of Paris, France) and his Modulor concept, an architectural concept for design based loosely on The Golden Ratio and Leonardo da Vinci's 'Vitruvian Man'. His stunning architectural works can be seen in the over 75 buildings that he has created in over a dozen different countries around the world.

The MoMA in New York is putting on the first major exhibition of Corbrusier's work (that will run from June 15th through September 23rd) that include his work with architecture, interior design, as an artist, a city planner, writer and even as a photographer. The exhibition also shows early watercolors of such exotic locations like Greece, Italy and Turkey, sketches of his travels to India and early photographs of architecture. With well over 320 objects included, this is possibly the most Corbusier material ever to be displayed in one place. It is easy to just spend one day looking at all of the architectural items on display. 'Le Corbusier: An Atlas of Modern Landscapes' will prove to be an amazing display of items from one of the most respected architects in the world... And you will love this man if you are a lover of modern architecture and the 'International Style'.
